Salama Marouf, head of the information office in Gaza, has issued a grave warning about the looming environmental disaster facing Gaza City due to the complete shutdown of water wells two weeks ago. The city is on the brink of a severe water crisis, exacerbated by the depletion of fuel supplies.
The relentless aggression has decimated the city’s only desalination plant, over 40 water wells, and 120,000 meters of water networks. Meanwhile, civil defense teams in Gaza are tirelessly recovering bodies of martyrs from a mass grave in Khan Yunis, with specialists confirming the use of internationally prohibited weapons that cause rapid decomposition of the victims’ remains.
