Hamas official Osama Hamdan indicated that the Movement’s representatives conveyed late Wednesday its final stance with respect to Gaza ceasefire talks to the Qatari and Egyptian mediators, confirming commitment to the main demands in this regard.
Hamdan reiterated that Hamas insists on the complete halt of aggression, the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation troops from Gaza, the return of the displaced to their homes, the intensification of the aid access to the Strip, the start of reconstruction, and a serious prisoner swap deal.
Hamas official stressed that the talks are not achieving any progress despite the Movement’s positivity, adding that the Israeli enemy is still stubbornly rejecting all proposals.
Hamdan indicated that Netanyahu is still placing obstacles to hinder the negotiations and deceiving the prisoners’ families via pretending to engage seriously in the talks.
Hamdan reiterated that the international community must play an effective role in confronting the Zionist brutality and criminality.
Hamas official denounced, during a press conference held in Beirut to follow up the latest developments of the Israeli war on Gaza, the Zionist attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
Hamdan indicated that the Israeli attack violates the international law and infringes on the states sovereignty, holding the US administration responsible for the attack.
The aggression against the Gaza Strip reached its 181st day, with the Israeli occupation forces committing more atrocities by launching raids and massacres that have resulted in a significant number of casualties, including children and women.
