Head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, said, “We still adhere to the equation that says that the killing of any Lebanese civilian will be matched by the killing of a Zionist civilian.”
He went on to say that “resistance will continue, for it is a need and a necessity, as the weapons will remain in our hands to confront the Israeli enemy, whom we cannot rest assured about.”
In his speech at the commemoration of the martyrs of the Aynata massacre, held on Sunday in the Al-Mujtaba (PBUH) complex in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), Sayyed Safieddine stated that “the resistance is now in a position of action and will remain present to protect the homeland and its citizens, and what is happening in Gaza confirms that it is impossible to rely on any other force in the world for protection.”
“We are facing an enemy with no values, especially since it holds political cover from the United States to commit its brutality, including killing and targeting everything in Gaza”, Safieddine added.
“The Israeli enemies are delusional and mistaken if they believe that they can eliminate Hamas or other Palestinian resistance factions. The resistance has grown in presence and strength, and what is happening in Gaza is a repetition by the enemy of an obsolete experience”, Safieddine emphasized.
Finally, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine reiterated that “Hamas and the resistance will remain, the buildings and hospitals will be rebuilt in a more beautiful way, and the resistance will become stronger, for it is genuine.”
