Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in Areeha on Wednesday, targeting residents with live ammunition and injuring three Palestinians, according to sources in Palestine.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF surrounded and raided several homes, including the residence of the martyr Jibril Kamal Al-Lada’a and the home of Samir Al-Titi, damaging residents’ belongings.
Confrontations between youthful residents and the occupation forces followed the raid, as rubber tires were set on fire blocking roads, in protest of the aggression. Invading forces fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at citizens as mosques in the Jabr Obaid camp echoed with Takbeer [Allahu Akbar] chants, urging the residents to confront the intruding troops.
In a separate incident, a settler was reportedly injured after a shooting operation targeted a vehicle near the Hawara checkpoint south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
However, head of the settlement council in the northern West Bank said that the event was dangerous because the bullets almost directly hit the settler, which would have killed him. Following the shooting operation, Israeli occupation forces forcibly shut down stores and shops in the town.
IOF Arrest Young men and Blow up a Vehicle in Jenin
Occupation forces have reportedly carried out arrests and an explosive operation in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin. Palestinian sources have indicated that four young men were taken into custody, including two brothers and two others.
In the nearby town of Kafardan, clashes took place between other young men. Later, the occupation forces blew up a civilian vehicle in the town.
Extremists Storm the Courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque
In the context of the attacks, extremists have stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, carrying out provocative tours and racist Talmudic rituals under the protection of occupation police.
According to Palestinian sources, the incursions take place twice daily, except for Friday and Saturday, in an effort to impose temporal and spatial division in the holiest site for Muslims.
