Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei was right to blame Zionist entity over the onset of Takfiris in the region.
I a speech to pilgrims and officials at the holy Shrine of Sayyeda Zeinab (AS) in the Syrian capital Damascus on Wednesday, Raisi Imam Khamenei had termed the move related to Zionist and US policies at a time many failed to have a true analysis of the situation.
The Iranian president hailed the Syrian government and nation for their resistance against this seditionist groups over the past years.
He noted that the resistance of the people in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine has set the conditions in favor of the Resistance Front and against the Zionist regime of ‘Israel’.
President Raisi vowed that Iran will continue to stand with the people of Palestine and the resistance in Lebanon and Syria and everywhere in the world, citing the Islamic Republic’s “fundamental policy of supporting the oppressed nations.”
“Iran will certainly stand with Syrians to rebuild the country as it did in difficult times,” Raisi said in the speech, as quoted by IRNA news agency.
He added that Iran-Syria ties are not merely diplomatic and political relations but a deep-rooted and strategic partnership that will never break.
