US President Joe Biden has officially announced that he is going to run in the presidential election next year, making his intent clear in a tweet he posted on April 25.
In his tweet, Biden claimed he is going to run for reelection because “every generation has a moment where they have had to stand up for democracy” and “their fundamental freedoms,” and he believes that this time has come.
“Join us. Let’s finish the job,” he added.
US Vice President Kamala Harris has also confirmed on her Twitter account that she and Joe Biden are going to run for reelection in 2024.
