The chief commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Brigadier General Ismail Qaani appeared in a video walking on the road between the holy Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karabala for the Arabeen ceremony.

Dressing in black, Brig. Gen. Qaani was viewed in the video during the Arbaeen walk.

Arbaeen is a longstanding tradition in Islam, which marks the fortieth day after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (a.s.), the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).
