Two men and a woman injured on Wednesday as an improvised explosive device went off in Al-Youssofiyyah region southern of the Iraqi capital.
“An IED planted near shopping stores in the Martyrs’ Neighborhood of Youssofiyyah south of Baghdad blew up Wednesday afternoon,” a security source told Al-Sumaria News.
“The blast injured three passers-by, including two men and a women,” the source added.
Al-Sumaria reported that a security force condoned off the explosion location and transferred the injured to the hospital for treatment.
Earlier on Wednesday, another explosion went off in a popular market west of Baghdad, killing a civilian and injuring five others.
