House Speaker, Nabih Berri, stressed on Saturday that he would never quit his political initiative aimed at facilitating the cabinet formation, describing it as the last chance to overcome the governmental hardship.
In this context, the contacts among the various parties involved in the cabinet formation would continue amid efforts aimed at preventing any escalation between the opposing political forces.
Al-Manar sources said that the efforts are now concentrated on finding a mechanism to nominate two Christian ministers independent from the President and the PM-designate quotas.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah and the Maronite patriarch Bechara Rai are also contributing to the efforts exerted to enhance the creation of the new government badly needed by all the Lebanese who are suffering from a severe socioeconomic crisis.
