Israeli aggression on Palestinians in Gaza continues as the Resistance retaliates by launching rockets at occupied territories.
Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have killed so far 24 Palestinians and injured 103 others, Health Ministry in the coastal enclave announced Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, Resistance rockets have been pounding settlements bordering Gaza, Ashkelon and Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv. The overnight rockets have injured 10 Israelis, Zionist media reported.
Earlier on Monday, Palestinian rockets hit Al-Quds, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon and several Gaza border settlements. A Palestinian Kornet fired by Al-Quds Brigades- the military wing of Islamic Jihad Resistance movement- hit an Israeli military vehicle near Gaza border, killing three Israeli soldiers, including an officer.
Monday witnessed brutal aggression by Israeli occupation police against Palestinian worshippers in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa. Palestinian Red Crescent announced on Tuesday morning that the number of injured Palestinians surpassed 700.
Responding to Israeli aggression which has been taking place since last week against Palestinians in Al-Quds’ Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian Resistance in Gaza threatened to fire rockets at occupied territories if the aggression did not stop. The Israeli occupation did not take the Palestinian warning seriously, with the Resistance fulfilling its promise to stand by its people in Al-Quds.
Shortly after the rockets were fired at the occupied territories on Monday, the occupation military announced the launch of “Operation Guardian of the Walls.”
For its part, Joint Chamber of Military Operations for Palestinian Factions announced the launch of “Operation Al-Quds Sword” to stand by Palestinian people in the holy city.
