The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Thursday its daily report in which it announced 1336 new coronavirus cases, 1319 of them for locals and 25 for the arrivals, raising total to 525577.
The report added that 15386 PCR tests were conducted during the past 48 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 457758.
According to the report, 25 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 7249.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually. In this context, the report noted that 294822 citizens received the first shot of the vaccine, adding that the second shot have been given to 161812 of them.
