Head of the Higher Shiite Islamic Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, issued on Tuesday a statement in which his eminence congratulated Iran on the 42nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Sheikh Qabalan stressed that the Islamic Revolution in Iran sustained the Islamic values, adding that, upon the instructions of Imam Khomeini, it defeated the tyrant regime and establish the just and righteous state.
His eminence emphasized that Iran managed to challenge the blockade imposed through the unjust sanctions, pointing out that the Islamic Republic smashed the all the barriers in order to attain in the various military, technical domains.
Sheikh Qabalan noted that Iran has been a main supporter of all all the Arab and Islamic causes, adding that it has never abandoned the support of the Palestinian cause.
In this context, Sheikh Qabalan asserted that the Arabs must sustain the Iranian power instead of signing deals with the Zionist entity, urging all the Lebanese parties to reinforce cooperation with the Islamic Republic.
On the same occasion, Sheikh Qabalan sent felicitation cables to the Supreme Leader Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei and President Sheikh Hasan Rouhani.
