Amal Movement politburo held on Monday an electronic meeting after which it stressed that the governmental initiative represents a major chance for the Lebanese to escape the comprehensive collapse of the nation.

The movement rejected the attempts of some political sides to violate the Constitution and create new norms pertaining the roles of the institutions and the constitutional powers.

Amal Movement confirmed that Speaker Berri’s initiative can lead to the formation of the new government that would cope with the financial crisis, warning against the imminent collapse in case the salvation plan is disregarded.
