On the anniversary of February 6 uprising in 1984, Amal Movement issued a statement which underlined the role of the revolution in maintaining the pro-Arab essence of Lebanon after some forces rushed on May 17, 1983, to sign an agreement with the Israeli enemy which had already invaded Beirut.
The statement called for a speedy cabinet formation, highlighting the importance of the civil state in protecting all the citizens’ rights.
