Mount Lebanon Prosecutor General, Judge Ghada Aoun, issued on Wednesday a one-month search and investigation notice against the Central Bank Governor, Riad Salameh. Aoun had asked Salameh for documents relating to suspicions of embezzlement, money laundering and tax evasion. Salameh dismissed corruption allegations against him as a smear campaign.
