Turkey intends to extend the state of emergency in the country for three more months, a year after a coup against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said Friday his government will propose to extend the state of emergency in the country for three more months.
“We shall propose to extend the state of emergency for three more months,” Yildirim told reporters, adding that speaking of specific dates for lifting of the state of emergency was premature.
