The message that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei has sent to the president of Russia encompasses major regional and international developments, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said.
Speaking to reporters upon his arrival in Moscow on Thursday, Araqchi said he is delivering a written message from Imam Khamenei for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The major regional and international developments as well as bilateral issues have been mentioned in the message, he noted.
The foreign minister said the relations between Tehran and Moscow include a broad range of topics, pointing to the joint economic projects and the close consultations over Iran’s nuclear program.
Araqchi also unveiled plans for discussions about the West Asia developments, the Israeli regime’s crimes, and the war in Ukraine.
Commenting on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Iran and Russia, which was signed by the presidents of the two countries in January, he said the treaty defines a strategic long-term course for the ties and cooperation.
