The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of 16-year-old Jana Zakarneh after she was shot by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during a raid on Jenin.

Jenin Governmental Hospital confirmed that Zakarneh had arrived at the emergency department with a bullet wound to the head that she sustained while she was on the roof of her family’s house located in the Bayader neighborhood.

On Sunday night, IOF forces stormed the city of Jenin and arrested three youths, as armed confrontations erupted.
A special Israeli occupation task force “arrested a young man from the outskirts of the [Jenin] camp after storming it from several entrances,” local sources reported.

The Israeli occupation forces’ incursion led to several confrontations in and around the camp with the Jenin Brigade.
The Brigade revealed that its fighters discovered a special IOF force in the camp’s vicinity, “and they are in a confrontation, targeting an IOF force with heavy salvoes of bullets and explosive devices.”
On its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that there were three casualties on the southern outskirts of the Jenin Camp after the Israeli occupation forces shot them, adding that its medical teams transported the wounded to the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin.
