Lebanon recorded on Sunday 1,153 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths in the past 24 hours, 47 were detected among travelers from abroad, the Health Ministry reported.

The new toll as of today has reached 600,451 cases and 8,044 deaths in Lebanon since February 2020.

4,608 first-dose vaccine jabs were administered, bringing the total to 1,441,772 or 30.2 percent of the eligible population, as well as 7,477 second-dose jabs, resulting in a total of 1,197,046 individuals or 25.1 percent of the eligible population now fully vaccinated in Lebanon since the vaccination began six months ago.
