Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency in Iraq’s Ministry of Interior announced Tuesday frustrating a terrorist plot devised to assassinate members from the security forces and the Hashd Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces).
In a statement, the agency said that its detachments were able to arrest two wanted ISIL terrorists.
The statement added that the terrorists admitted, through initial investigations, that they were assigned to monitor some members of al-Hashd al-Shaabi and the security servicemen to assassinate them.
The arrested admitted that they had also recruited minors to work with the terrorist organization in Kirkuk.
