Lebanon Ceasefire Eroded by Sustained Israeli Attacks

Israeli enemy carried out glider-borne bombing attacks on multiple areas of south Lebanon on Saturday, extending a pattern of near-daily strikes that has persisted despite the 2024 ceasefire.

Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported that an Israeli glider dropped a bomb on an excavator in the border town of Maroun Al-Ras, leading to its complete burning. The bomb attack followed another near a car in the same town.

Earlier on Saturday, Israeli occupation forces stationed in Al-Jardah post opened fire towards the border town of Dahaira, according to our correspondent.

Elsewhere in the border town of Kfar Kila, a citizen survived an attack when an Israeli glider dropped a bomb near him, Al-Manar correspondent reported.

Israeli gliders also dropped two bombs in the border town of Mays Al-Jabal, with one targeting an excavator, according to our correspondent.

Saturday attacks come a day after Israeli enemy launched a series of strikes in south Lebanon and Bekaa.

The Israeli enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following the 2024 Israeli war.

More than 340 people have been martyred by Israeli attacks since November 2024, according to toll released by Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
