In first remarks after the so-called framework agreement between the political authority in Lebanon and the Israeli enemy, Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri warned against internal strife.
In a statement released on Saturday, Speaker Berri addressed Lebanese citizens as saying: “O’ people of Lebanon, all of Lebanon, it’s sedition.”
The Lebanese speaker cited a quote by Imam Ali Bin Abi Taleb (a.s.), who once said: “In times of sedition, be like the two-year-old camel – neither strong-backed enough to be ridden, nor yielding milk to be drawn.”

The quote is a metaphorical warning for loyalties against being exploited or drawn into an internal strife.
Earlier on Friday, representatives of the political authority in Lebanon have reached a US-brokered deal with the Israeli enemy on late on Friday, sparking protests across Beirut and its southern suburb, Dahiyeh.
