Hezbollah Media Relations issued a statement on Friday categorically denying the rumors circulated through the social media about the cancellation of all Ashura gatherings and mourning ceremonies scheduled in the southern suburb of Beirut.
The Media Relations said: “In this context, the Ashura gatherings and events will be held at their designated locations in the southern suburb of Beirut, especially the central Ashura gathering at the shrine of the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him), starting on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM.”
