Resistance and Liberation Day: He Who Has History of Victories is Qualified to Achieve More

After 18 years of steady and resilient resistance, South Lebanon and Western Bekaa were liberated from the Israeli occupation in the year 2000. Several resistance forces in addition to the Army, people and state institutions contributed to the great achievement.

However, being in a confrontation with the expansionist Zionist entity necessitates expecting all woes from the monster sitting on the Lebanese southern borders with occupied Palestine.

When we examine South Lebanon situation this year, we may be mistaken by the direct and superficial scene of the Israeli forces occupying the same area again. Moving deeply to the essence of the conflict, we find that the same will of resistance and resilience is creating all the required circumstances to reach the same achievement made in 2000.

Since its withdrawal from most of the Lebanese territories, the Israeli enemy tried in 2006 War and several other occasions to break the balance of deterrence imposed by Hezbollah, yet the decisive responses of the Resistance made it back off every time.

On the other hand, the change of the military doctrine in ‘Israel’ caused the change of the rules of engagement. In details, the Israeli enemy is no longer concerned with prisoner swap deals and ceasefire agreements that keep the threats close. It now tends to wage an open war in order to eradicate all the sources of threats, even before they appear.

In response, the Lebanese Resistance found it necessary to adapt with the Zionist changes through imposing new rules of engagement based on accepting the challenge of the open war and unlimited sacrifices for the sake of deterring the enemy and defending the homeland.

Tolls and figures are now certainly higher than those recorded in the archive of the Zionist wars on Lebanon. Nevertheless, preventing the enemy from imposing its formulas and conditions on the Lebanese people through resorting to the barbaric genocide and genocidal barbarism requires such sacrifices.

Surely, the requirements of the confrontation are being gradually secured. The military development represented by the drone attacks on the Israeli enemy displays one of the aspects of a process supported also by the missile fire, field clashes, and much more.

Marking the 26th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation reflects confidence in the same path of faith, will, honor, power, steadfastness and sacrifice that will certainly lead to the same outcome of liberation, freedom, and pride.

Finally, weapons and rules of engagement may change. However, the will to defend dignity and protect the nation at whatever costs remains similar and even develops to achieve more and more.
