Screen capture of a Hezbollah drone strike targeting a an Israeli Namera vehicle in the southern Lebanese village of Taybe (May 16, 2026).

Hezbollah’s continued use of suicide drones remains a persistent concern for Israel, as the group’s Military Media Department releases fresh footage showing strikes targeting Israeli vehicles and military forces operating in southern Lebanon.

The video below shows Hezbollah’s “Ababil” attack drone diving toward an Israeli Namera vehicle in the southern Lebanese village of Taybe.

The strike is dated May 16, 2026.

This video displays a drone strike targeting an Israeli army logistics vehicle, Himmat, at the Menara site across the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine.

The strike, dated May 4, 2026, employs an “Ababil” attack drone, which appears in the footage swooping down towards the Israeli vehicle.

The designation “Ababil” is drawn from Holy Quran, referring to divine flocks of birds that protected the Kaaba in Mecca from an invading army of elephants led by Abraha in 570 CE.
