The Israeli enemy launched a series of air and artillery strikes on villages and towns south of the Litani River from dawn on Saturday, targeting residential and civilian areas in the western and central sectors of the Tyre and Bint Jbeil region.
Enemy warplanes bombed a building in the town of Abbasiyeh at the Ma’rakah intersection, near Hiram Hospital, and also struck the so‑called “Krit” building in the city of Tyre. Warplanes carried out an airstrike on the town of Deir Qanoun al‑Nahr, while also attacking the town of Burj Qalawiyah, alongside two airstrikes on the town of Dbeibine.
The Israeli enemy additionally conducted a large bombing in the city of Khiam. In a separate attack, a drone targeted Syrian workers as they labored in an orchard in the town of Bazouriyeh, causing injuries.
Friday’s attacks (background):
On Friday, villages and towns in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil regions, south of the Litani River, witnessed 31 attacks by the Israeli enemy, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, and bombings that resulted in martyrs, injuries, and widespread destruction.
The enemy struck two Civil Defense ambulance points belonging to the Islamic Health Authority in the town of Hanawiya, killing four paramedics. A drone also attacked the town of Qana, causing injuries.
Drones targeted the town of Deir Qanoun al‑Nahr with four consecutive airstrikes on the main road at the town’s entrance and the Triangle area. One of the strikes hit a Civil Defense team from the Islamic Scout Association while they were carrying out rescue duties, resulting in martyrs. The four airstrikes on Deir Qanoun al‑Nahr left five people martyred, including three paramedics from the Islamic Scout Association’s Civil Defense, plus six wounded.
A drone strike on the town of Tibnin hit a motorcycle, killing an elderly man. Enemy warplanes launched airstrikes on the towns of Jouya, Touline, Tibnin (near the Saraya), Majdalzoun, Mansouri, Froun, Ghandouriyeh, Barashit (near Husseiniya), Srifa, Kfar, Burj Rahal, Yater, and Shahour.
Another drone strike targeted the town of Ain Baal, hitting a motorcycle as a funeral procession for the Civil Defense martyrs from the Islamic Health Authority was returning from Hanawiya, injuring two people. The Israeli enemy also carried out a bombing in the town of Shihine.
Artillery shelling was reported on the towns of Srifa, Siddiqin, Tibnin, Kfar, Haniyeh, Qalila, and Maaliya, along with heavy shelling of several other southern towns.
