Head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary bloc, Hajj Mohammad Raad addressed the Resistance community, stressing that it is the criteria of honesty and commitment.
MP Raad stressed that the Resistance fighters are protecting the existence amid the absence of the state, warning against betting on the lies of the international hypocrites.
What follows is the text of MP Raad’s Call:
And your faith is the greatest immunity against being stung from the same hole twice.
*O our honorable people… O families of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners…*
Through you, the homeland is elevated and citizens are honored. Wherever you are—at home or displaced, in your homeland or abroad, in peace or in resistance, with your kin or with your neighbors and the people of your country—you are possessors of enduring grace through your sincerity, patience, sacrifice, cooperation, humility, love for others among your people, and your keenness for the independence, sovereignty, and dignity of your country and all its sons and daughters from all regions, sects, and denominations.
And because you are the pillar of the tent of the homeland, which you firmly refuse to see occupied, threatened, violated in its sovereignty, or subjected to the pressure of extortion or tutelage; and because you form the impregnable barrier against the expansion of Zionist influence and hegemony, you are today subjected to the fiercest war of destruction aimed at breaking your will by bulldozing your homes and villages, displacing you from your land, and constantly threatening you with evacuation, killing, and bombing.
And because the will of your sons and brothers in the resistance is an extension of your steadfast will, and because the weapon of the resistance moved by this will constitutes the real barrier to entrenching the occupation and its stability and hegemony, the forces of evil supporting the Zionist entity and endorsing its aggressive project are conspiring against you today. They are distributing roles internationally, regionally, and locally to twist your arm and impose subjugation and surrender upon you.
How strong you are, O our people!!
And because we know, and you know, the danger of what they want and what they seek—the horrific targeting of all our security, our sovereignty, our rights, our interests, our culture, our wealth, our resources, our economy, and our free national decision—we have refused and rejected, and you have refused and rejected, their project. Together we have confronted their aggression and their war. We fight and resist; we do not weaken or submit.
We are patient and we endure.
We feel pain, inflict pain, and fulfill our duty of defense until God grants us victory or we attain martyrdom, so that our stance and performance may serve as a lesson and a warning for future generations, who will undoubtedly continue to carry the banner of liberation, dignity, and honor… with heads held high and stature unbowed.
O our patient, sacrificing, loyal people…
We fight our enemy on the battlefield, and he grows weary of the might of our resistance fighters and their heroism. So he turns to pouring out the hell of his rage, tyranny, and arrogance to destroy your villages and displace you, knowing full well that this will neither entrench his occupation nor bring him stability on our land.
Our enemies, and everyone else in our country and in the world, know that we and you resist and endure to protect our existence and to make up for our state’s shortcomings. We do not fight and give our most precious blood for those whom some call “the others,” in order to justify their own neglect and helplessness.
We and you, O our people, are fulfilling our national, humanitarian, and moral duty of defense against the Zionist enemy—to preserve and protect our existence, our land, our country, and our people, and to prevent the criminals from continuing to target our country and our region. A region that will not be protected from Zionist ambitions by an alliance with America, the sponsor of Zionist terrorism, nor even by normalization with the racist Zionist occupiers and usurpers.
To those who supported us, backed us, and stood with our right: thank you and appreciation.
As for those who abandoned us and stood by watching the crimes of our enemy without uttering even a word of condemnation or moving a finger against him, history will judge their defeatist stance.
As for those who colluded with the Zionist enemy and claimed friendship with our country while supplying the occupiers with weapons, equipment, ammunition, and all capabilities—we know their hypocrisy well, and it is recorded in our accounts. But we advise our partners in the homeland who are taken in by these international hypocrites not to bet on their lies and promises. For the good these powers seek is for themselves and for our enemy. And the “good” they hope to achieve for themselves is to deceive you and control your country, and to divide the spoils with the Zionist invaders they support.
As for us…
We remain, O our people, true to the pledge we made to you and to the hope you place in us—steadfast in confronting the occupation and the criminal aggression against our land.
We have planted our feet firmly in the earth and offered our skulls to God. We give our entire being for His sake and His pleasure. He is our Lord and our Master—what an excellent Master and what an excellent Helper.
God has promised the patient believers and the sincere strugglers a mighty, supported victory, and His promise is true. That is a grace and a favor from Him that we hope to deserve, and that may gladden our eyes in this world. And if martyrdom is written for us, then it is a medal of honor and elevation for us in this world and the Hereafter.
O our honorable people…
We are your sons and your brothers. We continue on our path of resistance.
We say to all who hear us what our Imam Hussein, Master of the Martyrs, peace be upon him, said:
“Do you not see that truth is not acted upon, and falsehood is not restrained? Let the believer then desire to meet his Lord in truth.”
“We see death as nothing but happiness, and life with the oppressors as nothing but boredom.”
“And those who do wrong will come to know what a turn they will be turned to, and the end is for the righteous.”
“And victory is only from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.”
“And it was incumbent upon Us to help the believers.”
