‘Massacre in Kfar Sir’: 5 Martyrs as Occupation Escalates Attacks on Southern Lebanon

Five martyrs have fallen in new Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon, including a massacre committed by occupation forces against civilians in the town of Kfar Sir, as the ceasefire agreement continues to be violated.

Al-Manar correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that four civilians were martyred in an initial toll from the massacre perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces in their attack on a house in the town of Kfar Sir in the Nabatieh district on Tuesday morning.

According to the National News Agency, a civilian was also martyred in an Israeli attack on a motorcycle in the town of Frun in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes targeted Zibqin, Kfar, Malkiya, Frun, Majdal Selm, Mlikh, Shahabiya, and Harouf in southern Lebanon. At dawn, Israeli enemy forces launched an airstrike on Maashouq in the Tyre district, and another Israeli airstrike struck the area between the towns of Kfardounine and Deir Kifa.

Yesterday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 3,020 people had been killed and 9,273 others wounded in the extensive Israeli aggression against the country since March 2nd.

The Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, signed on April 17th, by persistently bombing Lebanese villages particularly in the south and attempting to impose a new security reality through its incursions, which are being confronted by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon.

This Israeli escalation comes despite direct negotiations between Lebanese and Israeli authorities taking place in Washington.
