Israeli attacks intensified across southern Lebanon on Sunday, in continued violation of a declared ceasefire, just two days after Lebanese authorities announced a 45-day extension of the truce, an agreement that has yet to translate into calm on the ground.
The attacks took place in Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil and Tyre districts as well as in Western Bekaa, according to Al-Manar correspondents.
Since dawn on Sunday, heavy Israeli artillery shelling targeted multiple towns in the Nabatieh district, including Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, Yuhmor Al-Shaqif, Kfar Tebnit, Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, Kfar Sir and Mayfadoun. Airstrikes hit Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah and Jebshit, which was also struck by another raid carried out by a drone. Our correspondent added that as unmanned aircraft maintained low-altitude flights over villages in the area.

Warplanes also bombed Ghandouriyeh, Zibqine and Majdal Selm, while a helicopter carried out a raid on the city of Khiam, Al-Manar correspondent reported, underscoring the breadth of the ongoing Israeli assault.
In the Western Bekaa, Israeli warplanes launched three strikes on the outskirts of Yuhmor, reportedly targeting livestock farms. Additional raids, conducted by both aircraft and drones, hit the town of Suhmor.

More Brutal Attacks on Sunday
Israeli airstrikes intensified across southern Lebanon later on Sunday, targeting multiple towns and residential areas amid continued drone activity over the Bekaa Valley and rising tensions along the border, while preliminary health ministry figures reported dozens of casualties, including children and women.
Israeli warplanes renewed strikes on the town of Majdal Selm, while artillery shelling targeted Al-Mansouri. Additional air raids struck the outskirts of Zebqine, Kafra, and Siddiqine, alongside attacks on Tayr Dibba, Jibchit, Bnaafoul, and Yater.
A residential home in the Al-Ghadir neighborhood of Al-Bissariyeh was also struck, while raids further targeted Roumine and Batouliyeh.
In the Bekaa, Israeli drones were reported flying intensively over the western Bekaa, while low-altitude drone flights were recorded over Baalbek and surrounding areas in addition to central Bekaa airspace.
Separately, an Israeli occupation force advanced from Ain Arab toward a Lebanese Army checkpoint in the town of Al-Mari in an apparent attempt to dismantle it, triggering tensions between the two sides before Lebanese Army reinforcements arrived and strengthened the position.
The Israeli military also issued evacuation threats to residents in the towns of Erzay, Al-Marwaniyah, Al-Babliyeh, and Al-Bissariya, urging civilians to leave immediately.
