Hezbollah fighters continued on Saturday facing the Israeli occupation forces in Southern Lebanon, targeting their gatherings, vehicles and sites.
The Military Media Department of the Islamic Resistance issued consecutive statements to detail the attacks and their outcomes.
Statement 1
In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and injuries among others, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 13:10 on Saturday 16-05-2026 a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers in Al-Khiam town with a loitering drone.

In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and injuries among others, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 15:00 on Saturday 16-05-2026 a Hummer vehicle belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army in Al-Taybeh town square with a loitering glider [FPV], achieving a confirmed hit.

In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and injuries among others, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 15:00 on Saturday 16-05-2026 the newly established Blat site in southern Lebanon with artillery shells.

In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and injuries among others, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted between 17:00 and 18:00 on Saturday 16-05-2026 gatherings of vehicles and soldiers belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army at Khallet Al-Raj in Deir Seryan town with artillery shells and rocket barrages in repeated waves.

In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and injuries among others, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 19:20 on Saturday 16-05-2026 a Humvee vehicle belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army on the Al-Bayyada – Naqoura road with a loitering glider [FPV], achieving a confirmed hit.

In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and injuries among others, the Islamic Resistance fighters detonated at 20:30 on Saturday 16-05-2026 an explosive device against a bulldozer belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army that was attempting to advance from Rashaf town toward Haddatha town. When a force of enemy vehicles intervened to withdraw the targeted bulldozer, it entered a minefield of explosive devices which were subsequently detonated. Following this, the enemy withdrew its losses under heavy fire and smoke cover.

In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon which resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and injuries among others, the Islamic Resistance fighters detonated at 20:50 on Saturday 16-05-2026 an explosive device against a second bulldozer belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army that was attempting to advance from Rashaf town toward Haddatha town.
