The Israeli enemy army announced on Monday that a 47-year-old reserve sergeant from Petah Tikva was killed by an explosive-laden drone launched by Hezbollah at a military post near the settlement of Manara, located in the Galilee Panhandle region of northern ‘Israel’.
The army identified the deceased as a driver in the 6924th Transportation Battalion of the Military Transportation Center, which operates under the Technology and Logistics Division.

According to an official statement, the soldier was transporting heavy equipment to the military post when he was struck by the drone. Israeli assessments indicate that Hezbollah launched four explosive-laden drones targeting the post.
Hezbollah’s Drone Attacks Escalate
The incident is part of a wider escalation, as Hezbollah has increasingly deployed explosive-laden drones against Israeli enemy forces in southern Lebanon and along border areas.
Last week, the Israeli army reported that a soldier from the 9th Battalion was seriously wounded in the southern Lebanon town of Naqoura after being hit by an explosive-laden drone.
Last month, according to Israeli media, several Israeli soldiers and personnel working with the Israeli occupation army were killed in southern Lebanon in similar drone strikes.
In a related development, the Kan public broadcaster reported last week that the army is preparing to equip its forces in southern Lebanon with fragmentation munitions purchased from the United States, “in order to enhance its ability to counter the explosive-laden drones used by Hezbollah.”
Israeli media has also highlighted growing concern within the country over the drone threat. The Israeli channel i24 described the drone launches as an “Israeli nightmare,” confirming a state of confusion and anxiety in Israeli circles as a result of Hezbollah’s operations.
