Hezbollah Warns: Enemy Plots Behind Offensive Videos Aim to Ignite Sectarian Strife

Hezbollah warns of the dangers of plots being hatched against the Lebanese people to incite strife. Hezbollah warns its supporters of the dangers of attempts to incite sectarian strife among the Lebanese people, urging them to avoid being drawn into the schemes of the resistance’s enemies. In this context, Hezbollah points to the spread of videos containing cheap insults intended to inflame public sentiment.

A statement from Hezbollah’s media relations office read:

“In recent days, videos have been circulating on the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) that cross the line of political disagreement. These videos contain offensive and cheap insults that degrade political discourse to a repulsive level, turning it into a deliberate tool to inflame public opinion and create tension within society. The aim is to provoke reactions that mirror the provocative act itself, with the ultimate goal of igniting uncontrollable sectarian strife among the Lebanese people.

We urge the public of the resistance and its supporters to be aware of the danger of what is being plotted against all Lebanese, and we call on them to refrain from being drawn into what the enemies of the resistance, and consequently the enemies of Lebanon, are aiming for with full intent and planning, and in accordance with our morals and values, which were expressed by the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, when he addressed his supporters, saying that he disliked for them to be abusive.”
