Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said on Saturday it carried out what it described as a response to Israeli strikes on civilians in the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon, which it considered a violation of the ceasefire, stating that the operation was conducted in defense of Lebanon and its people.
In a statement issued by its military media, the group said that at 15:00 Beirut time its fighters targeted a Nimera vehicle belonging to the Israeli army in the town of Qantara using an attack drone, reporting a confirmed hit.
In a related development, Israeli Army Radio reported that two drones were launched from Lebanon toward the Western Galilee, adding that one of them disappeared from radar.
