Islamic Resistance: Previously Planted Explosives Devastate Israeli Armored Convoy Between Taybeh and Deir Siryan

Islamic Resistance fighters detonated pre-positioned explosive devices against an Israeli enemy armored convoy traveling between the towns of Taybeh and Deir Siryan on Sunday, April 19, 2026, according to a statement released by the military media.

The convoy, consisting of eight Israeli armored vehicles, was moving from Taybeh toward the old Al-Sal’a site in Deir Siryan when the attack unfolded in two waves between 3:40 PM and 4:40 PM. The explosions destroyed four Merkava tanks, which were seen engulfed in flames before the enemy withdrew the damaged vehicles from the scene at 6:00 PM.

The resistance statement emphasized that the Israeli occupation forces movement constituted yet another violation, adding to the series of blatant and well-documented breaches committed over the three days since the ceasefire came into effect.

Yesterday, the occupation army acknowledged the death of one of its soldiers and the wounding of nine others in a separate IED explosion in the village of Kfarkela, southern Lebanon.
