Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon carried out a wave of coordinated strikes across the occupied territories on Thursday under the codename ‘Operation Eaten Straw,’ according to group statements.
The group asserted its attacks targeted Israeli occupation forces and their vehicles, particularly those attempting to advance into the steadfast town of Bint Jbeil, in response to repeated ceasefire violations and ongoing assaults on southern villages.
It also affirmed the response would continue until the Israeli-American aggression against the country and its people ends.
The group’s military media issued consecutive statements detailing the attacks and their outcomes.
In its first statement, Hezbollah said that in response to an attempted infiltration by Israeli occupation forces into the city of Bint Jbeil, its fighters targeted a Merkava tank on the city’s northeastern outskirts at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, with a guided missile, claiming a direct hit.
The second and third statements stated that Hezbollah fighters targeted the headquarters of Division 146 in the settlement of Ja’atun with attack drones at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, and launched a rocket salvo at a communications radar at the Katsafia barracks in the occupied Syrian Golan at 3:15 PM the same day.
“At 11:20 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Hezbollah fighters targeted a logistics base of the 146th Division of the Israeli occupation army (north of the Sheikh Danoun town) east of the Nahariya settlement with a squadron of attack drones,” statement four underscored.
Thursday Precise Attacks
Between 1:10 and 1:40 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Liman barracks north of the Nahariya settlement with a swarm of attack drones and launched a rocket barrage at the Calf Hill site (also known as Hadbat Al-Ejel) north of the Kfar Yuval settlement, according to statements 5 and 6.
Statement 7 reported that at 02:30 AM on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Hanita Israeli site with a squadron of attack drones.
Statement 8 reported that Hezbollah fighters confronted an Israeli occupation force attempting to advance from the direction of the town of Taybeh toward the Al-Khazzan area in the town of Al-Qantara. Starting at 5:30 AM, they engaged the Zionist force in firefights and targeted it with guided weapons, destroying four tanks and two armored personnel carriers. The statement, issued at 9:20 AM, indicated that the clashes were still ongoing.
Between 8:20 and 8:45 AM on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters fired rocket barrages at the Israeli settlements of Karmiel, Peki’in, Kiryat Shmona, Kfar Giladi, Misgav Am, and Margaliot, according to statements 9 and 10.
Statement 11 reported that at 10:00 AM, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Ras Al-Naqoura Israeli occupation site with a squadron of attack drones.
Between 1:15 and 1:44 AM on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Kfar Giladi artillery emplacement and a gathering of Israeli occupation army vehicles and soldiers in the city of Khiam with rocket barrages, according to statements 12 and 13.
Statement 14 mentioned that at 08:00 AM, Hezbollah Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli occupation army in Hamams Hill, south of the city of Khiam, with a rocket salvo.
Between 10:40 and 10:50 AM, Hezbollah fighters again targeted the settlement of Kfar Giladi with a rocket barrage and struck a gathering of Israeli enemy military vehicles and soldiers east of the town of Rub Thalathin with rockets, according to statements 15 and 16.
Statement 17 reported that on Thursday, at 10:00, 10:10, 10:20, and 10:30 AM, Hezbollah fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers in the town of Al-Qantara with successive waves of rocket salvos.
Statement 18 stated that at 10:20 AM, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation army vehicles and soldiers in the town of Taybeh with a rocket barrage.
Between 10:50 and 11:50 AM on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted newly established Israeli artillery positions between the towns of Addaisseh and Rub Thalathin, as well as a gathering of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers on the Jneijel Heights in the town of Al-Qantara, with rocket barrages, according to statements 19 and 20.
Statement 21 reported that at 13:15 on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Israeli occupation settlement of Nahariya with a rocket barrage.
Statement 22 reported that at 06:45 and 07:00 AM on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted two Merkava tanks at the Al-Sal’a height in the town of Qantara with guided missiles and achieved confirmed hits.
Statement 23 mentioned that at 14:45 Hezbollah fighters targeted a Namera vehicle in the town of Qantara with a guided missile and achieved a confirmed hit.

Statement 24 said that Hezbollah fighters targeted several gatherings of Israeli occupation army vehicles and soldiers in the town of Al-Qantara with heavy rocket salvos at 10:00 AM near Al-Khazzan, at 10:30 AM east of the town, at 11:00 AM on the Jneijel Heights, at 11:10 AM east of the town, and at 11:15 AM in the vicinity of the square.
Statement 25 reported that Hezbollah fighters targeted several gatherings of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers in the city of Bint Jbeil with heavy rocket salvos at 11:30 AM in the vicinity of the Mousa Abbas complex, at 11:40 AM at Aqabat Ain Ebel, at 12:45 PM in the Ain al-Kabira area, and at 1:00 PM in the vicinity of Al-Ishraq School.
According to statement 26, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation army vehicles and soldiers in the Al-Taybeh project with a large rocket barrage.
Between 14:30 and 15:05 on Thursday, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers at the Al-Sal’a Heights in the town of Al-Qantara, another in Al-Qantara, and a third near the Khiam detention center, using artillery fire and rocket barrages, according to statements 27 to 29.
Statement 30 reported that at 15:00 on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted newly established Israeli occupation artillery positions in the town of Al-Bayyada with a rocket barrage.

Between 16:00 and 16:05, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Shraga base, the administrative headquarters of the Golani Brigade north of the occupied city of Acre, with a swarm of attack drones, as well as the settlement of Shlomi with a rocket barrage, according to statements 31 and 32.
Statement 33 reported that at 16:30 Hezbollah fighters targeted the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona with a rocket barrage.
