Israeli warplanes intensified their attacks on Lebanese territory overnight and into Thursday, carrying out a wave of airstrikes across the southern and Bekaa that left civilians martyred and wounded, and caused extensive destruction to homes, infrastructure, and civilian facilities.

In the southern town of Tebnine, an airstrike struck the vicinity of the governmental hospital in the town, inflicting significant damage on the building, according to hospital director Dr. Mohammad Hammoud. A nearby commercial structure was also hit, triggering a fire that civil defense teams later brought under control.

At dawn, warplanes launched a strike on the coastal town of Sarafand and targeted an office belonging to a Palestinian faction in Burj Al-Shamali camp. Overnight raids also hit the towns of Khiam and Dibbine, with Khiam coming under simultaneous artillery shelling.

In Hasbaya district, a civilian was martyred after his home in Habbarieh was struck at dawn. Additional air raids targeted Wadi Shbeil in Qatrani in the Jezzine district, while earlier strikes on the Shbeil neighborhood caused power outages across Qatrani and Sarira.

In the Western Bekaa, two dawn airstrikes on the town of Suhmor caused heavy damage to residential buildings. Warplanes also struck Jabal Al-Rafie in the Iqlim Al-Tuffah highlands.

Further attacks were reported in Nabatieh, where a house in the Salam neighborhood was hit overnight, followed by a drone strike on an open area in the Rahibat neighborhood in the morning. Earlier, a home in Roumine was targeted, while a previous raid on Nabatieh’s Taamir neighborhood caused damage to multiple buildings and residences.

The strikes come amid a continued escalation marked by the Israeli enemy’s systematic targeting of residential areas and civilian sites across multiple regions.
