Hezbollah Extends Condolences, Congratulations to Hamas Leadership: Assassinations Won’t Break Resistance

Hezbollah’s official in charge of Palestinian affairs, former MP Hasan Hoballah, conveyed condolences and congratulations to the leadership of Hamas following the martyrdom of several senior resistance figures, stressing that targeted assassinations will not weaken the will of the resistance.

In a phone call with Hamas’s representative in Lebanon, Ahmad Abdel Hadi, Hoballah extended his condolences and praised what he described as the martyrdom of prominent resistance leaders: Mohammed Sinwar, Mohammed Shabana, Hakam Al-Issa, Raed Saad, and the official spokesperson of the Ezzeddine Al-Qassam Brigades, commander Hudhayfa Al-Kahlout, known as Abu Obeida.

MP Hoballah said that the assassination of leaders would neither break the resolve of the resistance nor extinguish its momentum. He added that the “pure blood” of those killed would give rise to a new generation of fighters, stronger in resolve, more determined, and more steadfast in pursuing the path of resistance until victory is achieved, as he put it.

He also reaffirmed Hezbollah’s full solidarity with the Palestinian resistance and the Palestinian people, arguing that Israel’s continued escalation and “arrogance,” from Palestine to Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, will only be confronted through resistance. According to Hoballah, resistance remains the sole option capable of thwarting what he described as projects of surrender that the Israeli enemy, backed by the United States, seeks to impose on the region.
