When the Master of the Umma Martyrs and the former Chief of Hezbollah Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah delivered the victory speech in 2000 upon the liberation of most of the Lebanese territories in the South and Western Bekaa from the Israeli occupation in Bint Jbeil town, His Eminence raised the famous motto which maintained that “Israel is weaker than a spider web.” 26 years later, the Israeli army involved its elite units in a suicidal battle to occupy the city.
It is the “Spider Web” complex which is chasing the occupation army whose general and spokespersons tried during the recent hours that the Zionist forces managed to smash the hard memory of the slogan which chased the illegitimate entity.
However, the reality says that the complex will keep chasing that barbaric enemy. Al-Manar correspondent reported, in a briefing, that the Zionist occupation forces have failed to besiege the city from all its directions, which prevents them from blockading the Resistance fighters fiercely clashing with the enemy troops.
The reporter added that the enemy distributed its troops over almost 14 positions around the city, slashing the numbers of soldiers in order to protect them from Hezbollah’s anti-armor missile fire.
The enemy forces, thus, were able to advance into the city from several positions, including Ainatha, and Maroun Al-Ras, yet failed to take control of the city and besiege Hezbollah fighters. Even the park where Sayyed Nasrallah delivered his famous speech was only targeted by warplanes, not occupied by the enemy.
This battlefield failure of the enemy and achievement of the Resistance recurred also in other South Lebanon towns as the Resistance fighters targeted the gatherings of the Zionist soldiers with missiles and combat drones.
