Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, Dr. Ali Fayyad, issued on Thursday a statement to set a total cessation of the Zionist war on Lebanon as a precondition before proceeding with any further steps.
“We reiterate our rejection of any direct negotiations between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy, and the necessity of upholding national principles, foremost among them the Israeli withdrawal, the cessation of hostilities, and the return of residents to their villages and towns,” he said.
The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu had stated that he approved the direct talks with Lebanon, adding that disarming Hezbollah and reaching a “peace” agreement with Lebanon are the target.
Pakistan defense Minister Khawaja Asif said Israel is evil and curse for humanity.
“While peace talks are underway in Islamabad, genocide is being committed in Lebanon and Gaza.”
