Hezbollah condemned, in a statement, the Zionist Knesset’s approval of the so-called “Law to Execute Palestinian Prisoners”, considering it a continuation of the enemy’s systematic terrorism and a completion of the policy of genocide practiced against the steadfast and sacrificing Palestinian people.

“This aggressive decision, issued by a fabricated, barbaric entity that doesn’t recognize international law or adhere to moral standards, is a serious attempt to institutionalize execution, legitimize intentional killing, and provide false legal cover for a pre-existing crime perpetrated by this Zionist enemy for decades against Palestinian prisoners through brutal torture, deliberate medical neglect, and all forms of humiliation and inhumanity.”

“This entity has reached this level of audacity and criminality due to the shameful international silence and inaction towards its crimes and massacres against children, women, civilians, and journalists, and its targeting of hospitals, schools, and shelters in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran,” the statement added, “The continued international community’s policy of overlooking and laxity towards these Zionist crimes and flagrant violations of international and humanitarian law will only encourage it to further commit its crimes and complete the genocide against the Palestinian people.”

Hezbollah expressed its full and unwavering solidarity with the heroic Palestinian prisoners and the resisting Palestinian people, calling on the international community, including the UN, Human Rights Council, and International Red Cross, to urgently take action to assume their legal, humanitarian, and moral responsibilities, stop this dangerous criminal escalation, and provide necessary protection to Palestinian prisoners unjustly detained in terrorist occupation prisons.
