Enemy Raids Across South and Bekaa Leave Dozens Martyred, Wounded

The Israeli enemy’s military campaign against Lebanon continued unabated Saturday, with airstrikes and artillery shelling pounding dozens of towns and villages across the south and the Bekaa Valley—killing and wounding dozens while causing widespread destruction to residential areas, infrastructure, and civilian facilities.

At dawn, an airstrike on the town of Al-Haniyah killed five Syrian nationals and wounded eight others, according to civil defense teams from the Health and Relief Association. In the Tyre district, warplanes repeatedly struck Shamaa, Tayr Harfa, and Al-Haniyah, while heavy artillery targeted Al-Qalila.

In the Nabatieh region, an airstrike on Deir al-Zahrani in the morning left several dead. A drone strike on the Zawtar al-Sharqiyah road killed paramedics from the Islamic Scout Association, and another drone strike targeted a motorcycle in Hadatha, killing one person.

The Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center reported that an early morning raid on a Civil Defense ambulance belonging to the Islamic Health Authority in Kfar Tebnit killed a paramedic and wounded four others.

Airstrikes and artillery also hit Bint Jbeil city and the surrounding towns of Kfar, Yater, and Al-Tayri, while villages in the western sector came under heavy shelling. In the Bekaa, warplanes launched two intense raids on Labaya, with additional strikes on Yahmar and the area between Sahmar and Yahmar.

The highway linking Deir Zahrani and Nabatieh was closed after strikes targeted residential and commercial buildings and a gas station. Rubble blocked the road until civil defense teams, the Islamic Scout Association, and the Islamic Health Authority reopened it later in the day.

Two houses in the al-Karimat neighborhood of al-Duwayr were completely destroyed in a dawn raid, and a residential building at the al-Qalaa intersection in Harouf was leveled. The al-Duwayr-Nabatieh highway, blocked by debris, was cleared by local civil defense crews.

At dawn, two missiles struck a residential apartment in Adloun’s al-Mashaa neighborhood. Additional raids hit Kfarsir, the outskirts of Arab Salim, and the towns of Touline, Qalawiya, Frun, Beit Yahoun, and Konine. Artillery shelling targeted Yahmar al-Shaqif, Arnoun, and Harj Ali al-Taher. In the afternoon, enemy aircraft struck Al-Bayada with phosphorus bombs.

Rescue teams continue to work across the affected areas as the Israeli aggression intensifies, with strikes now targeting roads, ambulances, and civilian dwellings in an expanding scope of operations.
