Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Friday that its naval forces carried out a complex attack against American‑Zionist forces in the port of Sheikh Zayed and along the coasts and port of Dubai, sinking tactical boats and killing a large number of US soldiers.
In a statement, the IRGC said the operation was conducted “within the framework of Wave 84 of Operation True Promise 4, and under the slogan: O He Who is Severe in Punishment.” The IRGC Navy employed Qadr‑380 ballistic and cruise missiles to target six American landing craft (LCUs) in the port of Sheikh Zayed. According to the statement, field reports confirmed that three of the vessels sank while the remaining three caught fire.
In a separate simultaneous strike, drones targeted locations where officers of the US drone unit were gathered on the coast and at a hotel in Dubai, the IRGC said, adding that the hits were accurate. The operation, it noted, resulted in the deaths of a large number of American soldiers in addition to the sinking of the boats.
The IRGC Navy affirmed that it “will continue to respond forcefully and with complete control to any aggression by the enemy.”
