The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters has dismissed efforts by Washington to frame what he described as a US military defeat as an agreement, asserting that the Islamic Republic will never reach a settlement with an aggressor.
In a statement directed at the United States, the spokesman declared that America’s proclaimed strategic power has devolved into a strategic defeat. “A self-proclaimed superpower, if it could escape the predicament, would have done so by now,” he said.
He advised the US president against rebranding his country’s defeat as a negotiation, adding, “Your era of promises has come to an end. Today, in the world, there are two fronts: truth and falsehood. And every freedom-seeking individual will not be swayed by your media waves.”
The spokesman also questioned the internal divisions within the U.S., remarking, “Has the level of your self-conflicts reached the point where you negotiate with yourselves?” He warned that the U.S. would see neither returns on its regional investments nor previous energy and oil prices until it understands that “stability in the region is guaranteed by the powerful hand of our Armed Forces. Stability comes through strength.”
He further stated that Iran makes clear that “until the moment our will is absent, no situation will return to the previous state. This will arise when the thought of taking action against the Iranian nation is completely erased from your filthy minds.”
Addressing “American aggressors,” he concluded, “Our first and last word has been, is, and will always be: someone like us will not come to terms with someone like you. Not now, and not ever.”
The remarks come after the United States and Israel launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran on Feb. 28, following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians. The attacks, which have included extensive aerial strikes on military and civilian infrastructure across Iran, have resulted in significant casualties and widespread damage.
In response, Iran’s Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in occupied territories and regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
