Tel Aviv was rocked by a large-scale Iranian missile barrage at dawn on Tuesday, one of the most intense strikes since the outbreak of the war, leaving casualties and causing extensive damage to buildings, infrastructure and cars.
Israeli media reported six injuries in the missile strike, though the accuracy of the casualty toll remains uncertain as the Israeli media have been downplaying casualty figures for propaganda purposes, particularly as occupation authorities impose tightened censorship over wartime reporting.
Israeli security officials said a munition carrying some 100 kilograms of explosives impacted in central Tel Aviv, leading to widespread damage to buildings and vehicles.
Israeli media reports also indicated missile parts impacted in Rosh Ha’ayin, east of Tel Aviv, causing damage.
So-called “Home Front” Command official Col. Miki David said an Iranian warhead that impacted this morning on street in Tel Aviv caused significant damage to three nearby buildings.
He assessed the considerable damage caused by the projectile indicates that it did not split off from a cluster munition, but noted “it still appears to have been smaller than the conventional, non-cluster, warheads previously launched by Iran.”

Cars were declared total losses after the missile struck the road, and nearby buildings sustained heavy damage.
