A missile launched from Iran on Saturday struck a building in Rishon LeZion, south of Tel Aviv, causing significant damage to the target, according to video footage of the aftermath.
The attack came as an Iranian military spokesman, in a statement issued early Saturday, announced that Iranian drones had struck Israeli military infrastructure in the occupied territories, including fuel depots and refueling aircraft positions at Ben Gurion Airport.

The spokesman said that despite strict security measures imposed by ‘Israel’, repeated attacks by Iranian military forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on military installations have significantly impacted aircraft refueling operations, air services, and air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport. He added that the strikes had also disrupted the movement of military forces, forcing them to rely on rail transport—a situation that could endanger civilian lives.
Statement No. 37, released by the Iranian military’s public relations office, affirmed that “the existence of a broad and comprehensive target bank within the occupied territories gives the armed forces the ability to continue drone attacks,” and that “these effective operations and strikes will continue deep within those territories until the threat to the Iranian people is eliminated.” The statement noted that Ben Gurion Airport, in addition to housing fuel tanks and refueling aircraft, serves as a site for special units and air force facilities, and is located near aerospace industries and fighter jet maintenance centers belonging to the Israeli enemy military.
