Hezbollah issued on Tuesday a firm denial of allegations by Kuwait’s Interior Ministry, dismissing claims of links to networks inside Kuwait as unfounded and unacceptable.

In a statement released by the group’s Media Relations,

“Hezbollah categorically denies the allegations and accusations made by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior regarding its alleged ties to cells or networks within Kuwait. It affirms that these claims are baseless and entirely false and are completely unacceptable,” the Lebanese resistance group said in a statement released by its Media Relations Office.

It stressed that it has no cells, members, or organizational presence in Kuwait, reiterating that such accusations are entirely false.

Hezbollah also affirmed its commitment to Kuwait’s security and stability, and to maintaining strong relations between Lebanon and Kuwait at both the official and popular levels.

“Hezbollah reiterates its unwavering commitment to Kuwait’s security, stability, and the safety of its people, as well as to the best possible relations and cooperation between Lebanon and Kuwait, both government and people,” the statement read.
