Two Martyrs as Occupation Army Launches Widespread West Bank Raids

Two Palestinians were martyred early today during an Israeli occupation military incursion into Jenin and its surrounding towns in the northern West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the victims as Ahmed Zayoud, a young man from Silat al-Harithiya, and 16-year-old Rayan Abu Mualla from Qabatiya.

According to reports from local sources and the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Abu Mualla was shot at close range by Israeli occupation soldiers. Reports mentioned that occupation forces prevented medical crews from reaching him, leading to his death from blood loss, before confiscating his body.

The aggression occurred amid a sweeping campaign of raids and arrests across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. Israeli enemy forces stormed numerous towns, including Tulkarm and Bethlehem, breaking into homes, assaulting residents, and detaining several young men. The operations have heightened tensions across the occupied territory.

These incidents are part of a significant escalation in Israeli occupation military activity in the West Bank, which has seen a sharp rise in casualties, raids, and arrests since the outbreak of war in Gaza. United Nations figures report that over 500 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli occupation forces or settlers in the past year.
