As the Israeli aggression on Lebanon entered its fifth day, the enemy sharply escalated its assaults, leaving martyrs and injuries, in a deliberate effort to deepen the pressure on civilian areas and intensify the pace of the confrontation.
The Israeli enemy on Friday carryied out widespread strikes that hit dozens of cities and towns across south Lebanon, Beirut’s Dahiyeh (southern suburb) and Bekaa.
An Israeli strike hit a building in the southern coastal city of Sidon, Al-Manar correspondent reported.

The Lebanese Health Ministry put an initial toll of Sidon assault, saying that five people were martyred and seven others were wounded.
Meanwhile in south Lebanon, Al-Manar correspondent reported a drone strike targeting a car in Tibneen.
Israeli warplanes staged powerful strikes targeting the southern towns of Nabatieh, Khiam, Habboush, Kfar Remman, Kfar Tibneet, Toul, Al-Azziya, Anqoun, Jibsheet, Maifadoun, Qalaway, Aynata, Beit Leef, Yuhmor Al-Shaqeef, Kfar Seer, Doweir and Taybe, according to our reporter.
Israeli artillery also shelled Yuhmor Al-Shaqeef, Wadi Bergoz, outskirts of Rashaya Al-Fakhar and the area near Hasbani River, Al-Manar correspondent reported.
Elsewhere in Beirut’s Dahiyeh more than ten strikes targeted residential areas since midnight on Thursday, leaving heavy destruction. The assaults targeted Haret Hreik, Burj Al-Barajneh, Ghobeiry and Kafaat.
In Bekaa, Israeli occupation army issued on Friday a new evacuation threat to four towns: Nabi Sheet, Al-Khader, Sar’een Al-Fawqa and Sar’een Al-Tahta.
The threat followed another one on Thursday night against three towns on Bekaa: Doures, Brital and Majdaloun.
Aggression Death Toll
On the other hand, Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nasserddine announced that the death toll of the Israeli aggression, which started on Monday (March 2) rose to 129, including 10 children and 17 women. Number of injured people reached 704, the minister added.
During a visit to Speaker Nabih Berri in his residence in Ain Al-Tineh, called for national unity and confronting the Israeli enemy.
“We informed Speaker Berri about the ministry’s health plan. We’ve talked about the need to activate diplomacy.”
“We call for national unity and to confront the enemy aggression, as well as supporting displaced people,” Minister Nasserddine added.
