Hezbollah Honors Imam Khamenei’s Sacrifices, Vows Unbreakable Resistance

Hezbollah Statements

Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon issued a solemn statement of condolence on the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei (may his sacred presence be sanctified), describing him as “the luminous sun that enlightens all,” echoing the revered words of the late Imam Khomeini amid a period of intense regional upheaval following his death in US-Israeli airstrikes in Tehran.

In its statement, the group honored Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei as the noble leader, devoted servant, Supreme Jurist, and guiding beacon of the nation. “His Eminence has been elevated to the mercy and pleasure of his Lord as one of the greatest martyred leaders in the history of the Islamic nation—a resolute, courageous, and selfless warrior endowed with profound wisdom and piercing insight.”

The statement framed his legacy within the sacred continuum of the divine mission, tracing back to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and continuing through revered figures such as Imam Ali and Imam Hussein (peace be upon them).

Hezbollah underscored martyr Imam Khamenei’s lifelong dedication to the oppressed, noting that “his struggle spanned a long and blessed life devoted to defending the weak and confronting falsehood across multiple fronts.” The group highlighted his central role in championing the cause of Palestinian liberation and supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, to which he committed every resource and blessing of the great revolution and the Islamic Republic.

The statement emphasized that Imam Khamenei achieved martyrdom at the hands of “the cruelest enemies of our time—the Israeli and American terrorists—during the blessed month of Ramadan,” drawing parallels to the sacrifices of his forebears and affirming that he had strengthened and elevated the Islamic Republic into a resilient, capable state present in every domain of science, action, struggle, and resistance.

Hezbollah extended condolences to a wide array of leaders and communities, including the awaited Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his return), senior religious authorities, seminaries, mujahideen, believers, the steadfast Iranian people, the broader Islamic nation, and oppressed peoples and freedom‑loving communities worldwide, as well as the government, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian Parliament, and the noble, patient family of the Supreme Leader.

The movement also paid tribute to those who were killed alongside Imam Khamenei during the “treacherous American‑Zionist raids on Tehran,” celebrating his martyrdom as “a blessed and supreme achievement” attained on the battlefield of resistance and jihad.

In a resolute conclusion, Hezbollah reaffirmed its “eternal and steadfast pledge” to the martyred Supreme Leader; to the martyrs of resistance, including Sayyed Abbas Al-Musawi, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine; and to all martyrs: to continue its struggle and resistance, standing firmly alongside the Islamic Republic’s leadership, government, Revolutionary Guard, army, and people, as it has in every trial and challenge, until the ultimate and complete victory over arrogance and aggression is achieved.
