Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem offered condolences over martyrdom of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, vowing that the Lebanese resistance group won’t relent in confronting the US tyranny and the Zionist aggression.
In a statement, Sheikh Qassem hailed Imam Khamenei as the Leader and the Guardian, who “attained the highest honors of glory, sincerity, steadfast resistance, and devotion for the sake of God Almighty, culminating in the supreme honor of martyrdom upon the path of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein.”
“With a heavy heart, I mourn the passing of the learned scholar and divinely guided leader, my soul filled with grief. Yet I take pride that the nation’s guide has returned to his Lord’s mercy and pleasure in the blessed month of Ramadan, at the finest of times, while leading the path of resistance against the US and Israeli tyrants. He has attained the highest victory, sealing his noble life with the supreme honor of martyrdom.”
“Our leader and guide ascended to heaven with steadfast courage, entrusting his reward to God Almighty. He left behind tens of millions devoted to the guardianship, leaders who will carry the banner forward, and peoples who remain in the field, proclaiming true Muhammadan Islam, defending the path of righteousness, striving for the liberation of Palestine and Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and sustaining the resistance that shields the oppressed from arrogance, occupation, and submission.”
The Hezbollah S.G. offered heartfelt condolences and congratulations to the Imam Mahdi (ajf), the Islamic nation, and the free people of the world “on the martyrdom of our leader and guardian, Imam Khamenei.”
His eminence stressed that assassination of Imam Khamenei and top commanders “represents the pinnacle of criminality and stands as an indelible stain on the conscience of humanity.”
“We in Hezbollah will press forward on this path with unwavering determination and steadfast resolve, sustained by a spirit of martyrdom that neither tires nor falters,” Sheikh Qassem stated.
He vowed: “Whatever the cost, we’ll not forsake the field of honor and resistance, nor will we relent in confronting the US tyranny and the Zionist aggression in defense of our land, our dignity, and our independent choices.”
Sheikh Qassem concluded the statement by saying: “We pledge to you, our Leader Khamenei, to remain unwavering on your path, the path of struggle and resistance, steadfast in confronting the forces of arrogance and oppression.”
